have you ever felt that no matter how much you pray, God doesn’t listen? that the more and more you pray, the worse things get?

maybe it just feels like God is too powerful or removed from your life to care. people are dealing with worse, why do your problems matter?

it can feel like God has looked past you & is focusing on more important things in the universe.

sometimes i think this too. all i’ve grown up hearing is that He “loves” and “cares” about everyone. but sometimes i start to believe that other people’s problems outweigh mine, so God shouldn’t bother with me.

sometimes i just feel alone.

here’s the problem. God created you. he made you in his image and likeness. you are fearfully and wonderfully made.

everything about you has been carefully crafted for a purpose. God isn’t going to push his masterpiece aside and forget about you.

in psalm 94:17-19, we see a testimony. it claims that God was there to love and cheer the writer up when he needed the Lord the most. this is further proof that God will be there for us when we need him.

don’t ever doubt for a minute that God loves you. he knows everything about you, from the number of hairs on your head to the deepest struggle you’re facing.

he is not removed from your life. no matter how alone you feel or how distant God seems, He’s still there. loving, caring, waiting. He hears every prayer and always responds, it just might not be as soon and as prominent of an answer as you had hoped.

you are never alone.
